One of the greatest things a minister must learn is doing things God’s way. Follow Gods plan for your life, the leading of the Spirit.

Papa Hagin use to say “Instead of giving God your plans to bless, why not get his and pursue it, for God’s plan is already blessed”.

Acts 13:2,4 [2] As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 4] So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus. Don’t start because everyone is starting. Pray about it. Like the Sage once said also it’s better to be slow, than to be faster than God.

Acts 16:6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, I know you have a world wide ministry but if you ever get a nudge to stop and don’t travel.

Don’t rebuke God’s voice calling it Satan. We are not in a competition. We are servants of Christ. We do what he says. And go where he sends us. We don’t go where we are celebrated, no we go where he sends us. Leave worldly wisdom alone.

See Philip, he left Samaria for the desert. 1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Grace writes the Christian Resume. We labour in our ministry. Stop studying every ministry and copying to do the same programs they do, and how they do it , all in the name of Church Growth.

Everybody mustn’t hold a camp meeting or an Activation meeting.

Galatians 2:9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision. A wise man perceives the grace of God upon others. Stop competing with Grace, we receive from it.

Stop trying to reinvent what you don’t have the spirit of or the Grace to do. Even Peter even later still recognises the grace of God in Paul.

See 2 Peter 3:15 “And account that the long suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; ” You will labour and run in vain, if you don’t do what God tells you to do. Allow him build his work through you.

Be guided by the Spirit of seeing and knowing daily.
